Denis Ivanov

16+ years in engineering — the last 4 years as Team/Tech Lead. I build high-load systems (Go/Node) and frontend architecture that scales with the product and the team.

AI call analysis & streaming scoring

Sivrosa · Tech Lead Fullstack

The business needed to quickly automate scoring of audio calls, find target leads, and extract insights — on a Go + Angular stack.

Under a tight deadline I picked up Angular and rebuilt the frontend on Feature-Sliced Design. Designed a Go backend for high-load streaming audio analysis through Yandex Cloud (YandexGPT / SpeechKit).

Shipped the AI solution to production — months of manual scoring and build work taken off the team, with automatic lead qualification wired into end-to-end business logic.

A tender in seven days

IGA tech · Team/Tech Lead

The business set a do-or-die goal: win the tender at any cost. Competitors had six months. We had seven days.

I got a full green light. Assembled a team of seven, sketched the architecture and app skeleton, ran the kickoff, and handed out the work.

In seven days — with a few late nights — we delivered. The tender was ours.

2022

A startup that took off

Portside · First engineer / Fullstack

I laid the first brick at Portside — I was the first programmer. Empty repo. A US startup that had to take off.

From scratch I designed and built the core: billing, transactions, event calendars, analytics. Then COVID. Layoffs shook the company, we sat through blackouts — but the architecture held, and the code kept scaling under market pressure.

Two wild years — zero to IPO. We survived, took off, and made it to the exchange.

2014

A portal that filled itself

Garage Media · Fullstack architect

The brief was an autonomous video portal from scratch. No architecture. No content. No video. Just a deadline and an empty screen.

First I sketched the skeleton and the architecture on PHP, Yii2, PostgreSQL. Then Kinopoisk and IMDb parsers — and a catalog appeared. Then bots that hit torrents, downloaded in parallel, and converted to MP4. In the end only SEO copy needed human edits — controllable, on purpose.

The service became self-sufficient: parse, fill, download, convert, stream. Content managers almost optional — only light edits where the machine still can’t.
